
Xenios Polis successfully hosts the Tast’Age Multiplier Event on nutrition and malnutrition prevention in older adults
On May 30, 2025, Xenios Polis successfully organized a Multiplier Event as part of the Tast’Age project, titled:
“Vocational Training and Skills for Nutrition and the Prevention of Malnutrition in Old Age.”
The event was held in a hybrid format, with 30 participants in total.

The Multiplier Event provided a valuable opportunity to present the project outputs, promote knowledge exchange, and gather constructive feedback. Participants highlighted the importance and relevance of the content to their work, particularly in promoting better care for older adults through nutrition.
Context
Malnutrition remains a critical issue for older adults in Europe. Studies show that more than 50% of individuals aged 65+ are at nutritional risk, yet many professionals lack the proper training to address it. Age-related physiological changes, reduced appetite, medication side effects, and care system gaps all contribute to this challenge.

With this Multiplier Event, Xenios Polis contributed to disseminating the project’s tools and knowledge, while reinforcing the project’s commitment to improving nutrition care for seniors across Europe.
The Tast’Age consortium includes 7 partner organizations from France, Portugal, Romania, Greece, and Spain, working together to address common challenges through innovation and education.
