The BONDS project addresses one of the most pressing challenges in school education — the prevention and management of delinquent behaviors (DBs) such as aggression, vandalism, and substance use among students. Recognizing that schools and teachers play a key role in shaping students’ social and emotional development, BONDS aims to strengthen their capacity to create safer, more inclusive, and supportive learning environments.

Through innovative training and interactive tools, BONDS equips teachers with the knowledge, skills, and techniques needed to prevent and manage delinquent behaviors effectively, fostering both student wellbeing and teacher empowerment.

The project’s main objectives are to:

• Provide teachers with practical, research-based training on prevention and management of DBs.
• Promote students’ social-emotional learning and wellbeing.
• Develop an inspiring multimedia toolkit that supports engagement and inclusion.
• Encourage cooperation, awareness, and long-term impact across the school community.

Expected results include improved classroom climate, reduced behavioral issues, and enhanced professional development opportunities for teachers.

BONDS includes 7 partners, Neapolis University Pafos, Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus, XENIOS POLIS, Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University of Ukraine, Școala Gimnazială ION LUCA CAREGIALE, Association ¨Nuevos Horizontes, Tendências e Argumentos, Lda, from 6 countries, Greece, Cyprus, Ukraine, Romania, Spain, Portugal, united in promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and positive behavior in European schools.
