On July 8th, 2025, the Tast’Age Final Conference brought together over 50 health professionals, nutritionists, social workers, caregivers, and seniors from across Europe for a meaningful exchange of knowledge and best practices on nutrition and healthy ageing.
The Tast’Age project was developed to address the growing challenges related to malnutrition and dehydration in older adults, by offering professional training and digital tools to those working with people aged 65+.
🔍 The project focused on key issues such as:
✔️ High rates of nutritional risk among the elderly
✔️ Age-related physiological and metabolic changes that affect food intake
✔️ Lack of training and organizational support in nutritional care services
XENIOS POLIS played an active role, contributing with presentations and scientific input.
At the final conference, Mr. Bokolas and Professor Tonia Vassilakou (University of West Attica) presented the project’s activities and results, focusing on the importance of healthy ageing and the prevention of malnutrition among older adults.
