From 8 to 10 July 2025, the 1st Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) and the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the European project TRANSFORM – Transformative Education for Social Inclusion and Integration (Project code: 2023-1-IE01-KA220-VET-000159740) were held in Athens, hosted by XENIOS POLIS.
The TRANSFORM project aims to promote diversity and inclusion in Vocational Education and Training (VET) by empowering both professionals and learners through innovative pedagogical approaches and educational tools. The consortium includes six partners from Ireland, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Poland, and Italy.

Over the course of the three-day event, participants engaged in a variety of experiential activities and educational sessions focused on social inclusion, intercultural relations, and the practical implementation of inclusion theory within VET institutions. Modules from the project’s educational framework (Modules 3, 5, and 6) were presented and tested, while discussions also took place on the European ECVET framework, along with interactive reflection exercises and the exchange of good practices.

As part of the activities, participants had the honour of visiting the Irish Embassy in Athens, where an official meeting was held—highlighting the transnational dimension of the project and underlining the importance of European cooperation in vocational education.
In parallel, the Transnational Project Meeting provided partners with the opportunity to assess the project’s progress, coordinate actions across the Work Packages (notably WP1, WP4, and WP5), and plan the next steps in the implementation of the TRANSFORM strategy.
The meeting in Athens marked a significant step forward in strengthening collaboration and reaffirming the partners’ joint commitment to fostering more inclusive and transformative approach to VET across Europe.

Warm thanks to the Department of Public Health Policy of UniWA for hosting us!
