This November the partner meeting and conference for the T-SHIRT project was held in Braga, Portugal.
All 7 partners from 5 countries met in Braga at an event hosted by the Portuguese partner for a 3 day event.
On the first day, Tuesday the 15th, the host organized a welcome meeting where the modules of the project were discussed. Issues like the dissemination of the project and the monitoring and evaluation of the project were the main points of the meeting. On the 16th the partners continued the discussion about the issues of the project.
The conference was held on the 15th in the afternoon. During the conference, there were presentations by the partners about the objectives of the event, the IOs the platform as well as the future multiplier events. In the second part of the conference, there was a presentation with the title: “The Role of Teachers in the deconstruction of gender stereotypes”. This was a presentation by 3 external speakers; Júlia Rodrigues a researcher at the Centre for Research in Education of the University of Minho, Ana Brandão the director of the Sociology of Gender and Sexuality course at the University of Minho and Susana Mota a representative of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality. At the end of the conference, there was a discussion and feedback on the conference.
