The 1st Transnational Project Meeting of the project “OASIS – Opportunities for Awareness towards Sustainable and mIndful Digital ConSumption” (Project number: 2024-2-CY01-KA220-YOU-000286222), ), took place in person in Athens, Greece, on May 8-9, 2025.
Representatives from 5 partner organizations across 4 European countries –RESEARCH AND EDUCATION OF SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT AND TRANSFORMATION – RESET LTD (Cyprus), XENIOS POLIS, Culture, Science and Action (Greece), Alliance Europeenne des YMCA (Belgium), Big Bucket Limited (Ireland), and E.S. Conscious Communication LTD (Cyprus)- gathered to initiate the project’s activities, define strategic objectives, and coordinate the next steps for promoting mindful digital consumption among young people.
During the meeting, the partners collaborated to exchange ideas, plan the first project actions, and establish the framework for the project’s development. Key discussions focused on project management, the development of educational materials, and the design of activities to raise awareness on responsible digital usage.
The OASIS project addresses the growing need for digital wellbeing and aims to foster conscious digital consumption habits among young people. Through collaborative efforts, the project will develop tools, educational resources, and campaigns to support sustainable and mindful digital living.
The meeting marked a significant starting point for the OASIS project, creating a collaborative space to exchange valuable perspectives, shape effective strategies, and initiate the development of resources that encourage responsible and conscious digital habits among youth.
