IGNITED-POWER – Inclusive GeNder and sexual orIenTEation navigation for transformation anD emPOWERment (Project number – 2024-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000246273) aims to revolutionize the way we address SOGIESC discrimination and empower LGBTQIA+ youth. Through the development of educational and media resources, the project has a goal to create a more inclusive, informed, and supportive environment for all. By focusing on innovative and transformative strategies, it seeks to tackle systemic barriers, reduce stigmatization, and promote understanding among different segments of society.

More specifically, the main goals are the below:

  • Provide youth workers with the tools and knowledge to effectively address SOGIESC issues, ensuring they can better support and protect LGBTQIA+ youth.
  • Facilitate multi-stakeholder roundtables with policymakers, LGBTQIA+ youth, and youth workers to bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice.

Through these initiatives, IGNITED-POWER seeks to ignite positive change and empower LGBTQIA+ youth to thrive.

IGNITED-POWER includes 6 partners from 5 countries: UNIVERSIDAD DEL PAIS VASCO/EUSKAL HERRIKO UNIBERTSITATEA (Spain), XENIOS POLIS, Culture, Science and Action (Greece), GenderLens Aps (Italy), ACCEPT-LESBIES, OMOMYLOFILOI, AMFISEXOUALIKOI, TRANS (LOAT) KYPROS (Cyprus), WECHANGE RESEARCH AND OUTREACH LTD (Cyprus), CENTRUL PENTRU INOVARE SI PERFORMANTA (Romania).
