The TRANSFORM Storytelling Workshop, titled “Stories from Across the Globe”, brought together participants to explore the power of storytelling in fostering inclusion and social change.

The session began with Dr. Vassilis Bokolas introducing key concepts related to migration. Following this, he led the participants through the Transform Storytelling session, where participants engaged in structured exercises designed to enhance their ability to share impactful stories.

Through interactive exercises such as:

• Self stories: Each participant introduced themselves by sharing a short, interesting fact or personal story.
• Near and far: Participants reflected on a personal trait they shared with the group and one that made them unique.

These activities helped participants:

• Enhanced storytelling and active listening skills.
• Developed the ability to adapt their storytelling to different audiences.
• Identified and analyzed personal and institutional biases.
• Discussed solutions to address discrimination and social exclusion.

The workshop provided a safe and engaging space for meaningful discussions, allowing individuals to connect through shared experiences while learning strategies.
