
Following its wide and effective implementation, the SENSES -Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation for Every Student project [Project Number: 2020-01-UK01-KA201-078968]- was completed at the end of October 2022. Prior to the end of the project, all partner countries organised online and/or face-to-face seminars for teachers and stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the themes and relevance of the project, but also to apply some of the teaching practices, which were used in the context of the implementation of the outputs produced.
At the end of October, the XENIOS POLIS team conducted a face-to-face conference entitled “Social entrepreneurship & social innovation for every student”, which took place in the “Co-ownership Hall” of the Municipality of Paiania.
The event was attended by professionals and stakeholders, who were informed about the programme and shared valuable experiences and ideas for its sustainability.
The President and Scientific Officer of XENIOS POLIS, Dr. Vassilis Bokolas, with his speech “European affairs, social entrepreneurship and education: inter-relations and “underlying” conflicts” gave a complete picture of the European Union’s directions for entrepreneurship and innovation in the educational environment, through funded programmes. Afterwards, Mrs. Mela Niki, Digital Consultant & Digital Deliverables Manager of XENIOS POLIS, gave a presentation entitled “SENSES educational platform and digital tools for students and teachers”. Finally, Ms. Papadopoulou Maria, Researcher, representative of XENIOS POLIS concluded the workshop with the presentation entitled “Capacity building and educational design in social entrepreneurship in the framework of the SENSES project”.
At the end of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to express their views and ideas on the further exploitation of the results of SENSES.
