The final conference took place in Athens on 13 October 2022. Prior to the end of the project, all partner countries organised online and/or face-to-face seminars for stakeholders and stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the programme’s themes, but also to register and use the Access4All educational digital platform.
The conference took place at the Serafio of the Municipality of Athens (19 Echelidon & 144 Pireos).
The conference was attended by professionals, representatives from both public and private institutions and stakeholders, who were informed about the programme and shared valuable information on accessibility for people with disabilities.
The conference was divided into two parts. In the first part, the presenter was Ms. Sitareniou Dimitra – EU programmes director, CHENIOS POLIS, who presented her speech on “European funded programmes and inclusive societies”. This was followed by speeches from the partners on the IOs of the programme.
In the second part, the first speech was given by the Vice Mayor of Social Solidarity & Civil Society of the Municipality of Athens, Ms. Gagaki Aikaterini, on “The accessibility policy of the Municipality of Athens”. This was followed by speeches by Ms. Gika Kalliopi, representative of the tactual museum and Ms. Chatzichalepli Niki, social worker and Deputy Head of a school unit of Secondary Education.
The seminar was livestreamed, giving the opportunity to attend to those who could not attend in physical presence.
